Hull Heads Camping Ground (North QLD)

IMG_0677The Hull Heads Camping Ground is a very basic camping area that serves as an easy ‘no-fuss’ spot for campers to spend a night or two. Keen anglers would enjoy the fishing opportunities here if they bring along a small boat to launch directly from the boat ramp. The camp area itself is small and mostly unshaded. The campground doubles as a day area with a small childrens playground, picnic area and free BBQ’s.

For your camping fees, you get the use of flushing toilets (cleaned daily), drinking water and hot showers. There is no power and generators are not permitted. The outlook from the campground is nice both at sunrise and sunset, perfect for photos. TV and phone reception is available.

The campsite is perfect for weekend fishing trips, short getaways or a safe place for travellers to camp where they can bring their dogs. The area can be busy during peak nomad season.
